One of my favourite commissioned art works. Lions are such beautiful majestic creatures. The blue lion was created for friend who wanted to surprise her brother for his birthday. She thought what better way to surprise him then with a creative piece of art. This is my own abstract interpretation of a fierce lion. I used striking blue and white brushstrokes to form the lion with a contrasting black background to ensure the image stood out.
